A brief report on the Event –

On 21st January 2021, Adamas University organized the first lecture of the lecture series on Frontier in Multidisciplinary Research and Industry Transformation for Btech students. The lecture was titled "Resolving the Multiscale Multiregional Complexity of Human Neural Circuitry" and aimed to provide insights into the complexity of the human brain and how it can be understood through multidisciplinary research. The lecture was attended by 98 participants.

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Janet L. Paluh, a renowned neuroscientist, who has made significant contributions to the field of neuroscience. The speaker provided an overview of the human brain and its complexity, emphasizing the need for a multidisciplinary approach to understand its structure and function.

The speaker discussed various techniques used in neuroscience research, such as electrophysiology, neuroimaging, and computational modeling, and their applications in understanding the neural circuitry of the brain. The speaker also provided insights into the challenges faced by researchers in this field, such as the multiscale and multiregional complexity of the human brain, and the need for innovative approaches to overcome these challenges.

The lecture also included a discussion on the applications of neuroscience research in industry transformation, such as the development of brain-computer interfaces and neurotechnology. The speaker emphasized the need for collaboration between academia and industry to develop innovative solutions that can benefit society.

The lecture concluded with a Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to clarify their doubts and seek guidance from the speaker. The speaker also provided insights into the career opportunities available in neuroscience research and the skills required to succeed in these roles.

Overall, the first lecture of the lecture series on Frontier in Multidisciplinary Research and Industry Transformation was well-received by the participants, who found the content to be informative and relevant to their career aspirations. The insights provided by the speaker on the complexity of the human brain and the multidisciplinary approaches used in neuroscience research helped the students understand the potential of this field in solving real-world problems. The success of the lecture has encouraged the university to organize similar events in the future to help students stay updated with the latest trends in multidisciplinary research and industry transformation.
