Teachers' Day Celebration

Objectives: In India, Teachers' Day is celebrated annually on September 5 to mark the birthday of the country's former President, scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna awardee, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The programme's aim was to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and hard work of our teachers in making us sophisticated and responsible individuals. The celebrations of Teachers' Day in college were definitely one of the best memories for many of us.

Abstract of proceedings:

Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 7th September Wednesday afternoon in AU auditorium from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm. We welcomed our teachers with Rose and Thank You card. We inaugurated the occasion with our DEAN’S heartfelt speech which was followed by students and our teachers’ performances. After the cake cutting ceremony we distributed cake, gifts, foods and drinks. And the program was concluded with Rupanwita Ma’am’s speech and clicked some photos with our dearest teachers.
